'여자 전두환'에 대해선 본인의 명예를 훼손한다고 생각도 안 하는 것 같아요.] '5·18 폄훼 토론회'를 열었다는 비판을 받는 이 의원을 겨냥해 김 대표는 지난 15일, '여자 히틀러, 여자 전두환'이라고 맹공했는데, 이 의원이 '여자 히틀러'란 표현만 문제 삼아 자신을 모욕죄로 고소한 점을 꼬집은 겁니다. 민주당은 이 의원의 의원직 사퇴를 촉구했고, [천준호/민주당 원내운영수석부대표 : (토론회에서) 군사 쿠데타와 학살의 주범인 전두환을 미화하는 발언도 이어졌습니다. 토론회를 주최한 것은 미리 의도한 역사 왜곡으로 볼 수밖에 없습니다.] 민주당은 오늘 국회 본회의에서 이 의원 제명을 촉구하는 결의안도 통과시켰습니다. 국민의힘 의원들은 표결하지 않고 퇴장했고, 이 의원은 본회의장 밖에서 이런 주장을 폈습니다. [이진숙/국민의힘 의원 : 국민을 대신하는 국회의원조차도 말을 하는 자유를 민주당 1당 독재가 빼앗았습니다.] 국민의힘 지도부가 이 의원 징계를 검토하지 않는다고 밝힌 가운데, 민주당은 국회 차원의 징계가 가능하도록 국회법 개정에도 나서고 있습니다. 민주당 측 개정안엔 국회의원이 5·18 민주화운동을 비방하거나 왜곡하는 행위가 예상되는 토론회를 열거나 장소를 제공하는 경우, 최장 1년의 직무 정지가 가능하도록 했습니다. 다만 의원 징계안은 윤리특별위원회를 통과해야 하는데, 22대 국회는 아직도 윤리특위를 구성조차 하지 못한 상태입니다. Kavanaugh was a part of the majority in that decision. During his 2018 confirmation hearings, Kavanaugh said that Roe v. Wade was “settled as precedent of the Supreme Court.”,The court did not make a comment on Kavanaugh’s interrupted dinner but a person familiar with the situation told Politico that Kavanaugh did not hear or see the protesters and ate a full meal. They did not mention what exit Kavanaugh used to leave the restaurant.,As for the restaurant, they were not amused. Sending a statement to a Politico reporter, they stated that everyone should have the right to eat dinner.,“Honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all of our other patrons at the restaurant were unduly harassed by unruly protestors while eating dinner at our Morton’s restaurant. Politics, regardless of your side or views, should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner. There is a time and place for everything. Disturbing the dinner of all of our customers was an act of selfishness and void of decency.”。
